No but that is likely the photo dulling it out. Of course If I did I would not buy if it did not have return privy since the luster is hard to judge for the pics

Do you have the coin in hand or have you seen it in person? Why are you so certain the photos is giving it the lifeless look. That looks like the thousands of over dipped Morgan’s I’ve seen.

No and I am not certain but its also impossible to be certain by these pictures that it is. The lighting they use on all their pictures makes it hard to judge in my opinion. I posted another of their AU ish looking coins above that looks overdipped to me .I am not saying either way that I think it has or has not . That would have to be determined if the coin was in hand

If you like the coin, buy it. You asked for advice, and you don’t like the advice you got. However, the person who has to be happy is YOU, not anybody else. You are the one who has to be happy with it, sincerely. Not trying to be harsh, but you did ask for opinions.

I agree . My main question was about the grade as far as a technical point . I saw it making AU-50 though like alot said I could see it as XF-45 as well. With many , many online sellers the photos are hard to judge as far as luster and color. I dont really want a bright white AU-50 or XF-45 example . I posted a bright white example above from them as well which to me seems over dipped . I am going to look for one thats a little more of a AU home run though at a few of my local coin shops I think.

one reason I do like biting on some of these though as I have gotten some really nice coins but usually I gamble on clashed lower priced coins

I thought possibly cleaned also because of the lack of luster.

I think the lack of luster is how the took the picture though I could be wrong. I can see luster but I have seen their pics alot and have bought from them in the past.
I am not buying it though to see for sure so will always just be a guess.
