A beautiful example of a clad Washington Quarter. And it’s not a proof strike either. Please note that the mint mark is in the correct place on the obverse.

Is the luster real? It is hard to tell from the photographs

On that basis - it is a great coin for the year. Its a little soft, but that year has so few decent strikes.

Where are you finding these? Roll searching? That's a nice looking coin.

You don’t find coins like these in rolls. I buy them from an online coin dealer. I’ve been buying from them for over 10 years now. Not only do they recognize my voice but I know which one of the 3 I’m talking with. They’ve always taken care of me over the years and I’ve had only 2 problems that come to mind.

Let's remember too that the one shown is just an example and is much, much better than a $3.11 coin. If you order one, you're going to get what's advertised, a $3.11 "BU" coin. And yours has a stronger strike than theirs, so don't accidentally spend it, lol.

No way, it’s already inventoried, photographed and in my Dansco 7070.

Maybe, but I found this in circulation just last year.
