I am finally getting my pics up of my new IKE. As some of you may know, more and more new variety IKEs in both proof and mint state seem to be found each day. ANACS has done a good job attributing many of these and putting them on the slab. Unfortunately, the other two TPGs have not done their due diligence and kept up with the IKE community findings. Currently, PCGS has 4 different proof varieties that they recognize and 2 different mint state varieties that they recognize. Hopefully this will change in the future, but as of right now, this is what collectors need to aim for in order to put together a complete IKE variety registry set for PGCS. About a month or two ago, I bought my first proof variety a 1973 PR67DCAM DDO IKE. At the time, there was 1 67DCAM, 1 68CAM and 2 69DCAMs graded by PCGS to date. The 67DCAM that I had should really have been at least a 68DCAM. It was stunningly nice. Then recently 2 more 69DCAMs hit the market. I was fortunate enough to purchase one of these from Brian Vaile who is one of the IKE club gurus. Really nice guy and great to do business with. He has really helped me much with putting together a nice IKE registry set. Attached below is the newest member to my IKE family that I purchased off of Brian. Hope you enjoy.

    Sweet coin jaceravone!

grizz, according to my Cherrypickers' it says "Pickup Point: IN GOD WE TRUST. A medium spread can be detected on IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, and slightly on the date."

    Exactly what he said.

This variety, like all the other DDO IKE varieties are hard to see with a 10x loupe. Personally, I think you need at least a 16x loupe or greater. The guy I bought this coin off of feels that you really need a 30x loupe to really get the full effect. These Doubled Dies are not like your 55 or 72 so get that vision out of your mind. The spread on these coins are not that dramatic, but with the right magnification, you can see them. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to photograph a really good close up but maybe Lee Lydson will pop on here and show us some of his stuff. If I am not mistaken, Lee was the first one to find a 73S DDO that was graded a 69DCAM and he had the first two.

Thanks to everyone else for your comments. She is a beauty...or should I say he is a beauty!
