So I did read an article or two. Fake Chinese coins use loose collars resulting in suffering dentils( the little raised marks emanating from the rim) these look strong to me. Am I wrong?
Send it to PCGS or NGC. The chinese are making fakes out of real silver. I don't trust any chinese coins, heck especially one thats expensive and looks a bit too good to be true
Yes, if you're planning to resell it. But since it's so clean and perfect, perhaps run it by a LCS you trust for their opinion first. By the way, the Coinquest link provided by Kentucky is for a similar but different coin. (Compare the reverses). The Numista link is your coin. But regardless, the information about the widespread counterfeiting for these types of coins in the Coinquest link is 100% relevant and true. You might want to also consider posting your coin in the "World Coins" forum instead of "Coin Chat." You'd probably get many seasoned members to chime in.
