I have some old bicentennial coins, comprising a PDS set and a 40% silver Mint Set. Nothing extraordinary, but I do like the designs on the reverse of these coins. And it's been almost half a century since they were minted. Yesterday, I received a lot of bicentennial stamps to complement the 1976 coins. It was a real surprise and I'd like to thank @Inspector43 for his kindness and generosity. Even though I don't collect stamps (I can't even remember the last time I mailed a letter), I know I'm going to enjoy looking at the designs on these. My favorite one which I checked out immediately is the bottom right (signing of the Declaration of Independence). And in case I ever go on Jeopardy, I now know that there's a profession called a Wheelwright! (Bottom left). Thanks again @Inspector43 for the surprise.
It’s really nice you have shared this with us! @Inspector43 went out of his way to send me a fantastic coin that I have been looking for years. I finally have some time this weekend, and was/ am going to post about his kindness. Coming soon! We have some of the best members here!!!
