I recently posted a 90% 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar. It resided in my Dansco 7070 album. I just received it’s replacement. I didn’t like the small hit in front of his face and while very faint, I really didn’t like the fingerprint by the T in LIBERTY.
Here’s the old coin. The fingerprint is hidden but not the reeded hit.

Here’s the replacement coin. I was able to use less lighting but it’s actually shinier. I think it looks better. What are your feelings?

I make it a personal policy not to dog anyone else's coins on cointalk, but I admit I do not like the first. That striking on the cheek is an eye sore. Whenever my eye is immediately drawn to something on the coin, it better be good or I am passing. I am glad you upgraded!

Anywhere else and the hit from the edge of another coin would have been ok to me. Like the second coin better

it's nice enough, and clearly an upgrade to the previous one, I'm not a fan of the pictures and lighting on this one though, kind of hard to see if the detail is sharp but what really matters is if you like it and will be happy with it in your 7070. the hit on the first one you are replacing would have drove me crazy on the page with the others unless they all had hits. LOL

I feel the same. The reeded edge hit was bad enough but the light as ever fingerprint was worse. It’s a coin under $20.00 so I replaced it. Now I’m pleased with the coin. :)

Very nice upgrade based on the pix.
As you stated, those little dings on your first one would have annoyed me too.

Enjoy the new one. Well done.

It was driving me crazy. Only took 2 weeks to get a new one. The company I bought it from is the same company but they told me to keep and they reduced the price. I’m very pleased with the new coin and the way I was taken care of. I know it’s hard to see the detail and sharpness on the new one but it is better in all ways. :)
