65 PL...clean fields and cheek, nice cameo look, die polish lines on the reverse (not scratches as some might think)...I slightly hesitated on PL but believe a different angle would confirm it
You are definitely in the right direction. What else do you see? Don’t fixate looking for hits. Too many people count the hits, or look for hits that aren’t hits.
It has a very frosty, mirror like appearance and surfaces are reflective almost like its a proof but it doesn't make it that far still amazing .
She's a little bruised up in the profile but not cut anywhere I can see. MS65 provided they didn't hold her from gem for the die state.
I'm going out on the grading limb here and say MS65+. The reverse misses the PL reflectivity standard because of the extensive die polish lines...
Die polish lines do not impair reflectivity. In fact, they indicate a highly polished planchet, due to polish transfer from the die.
Clue: Those are not hits on the cheek. Look carefully. They are die polish artifacts, and frost breaks. There are no bagmarks in the facial area.
Ok, more clues, as I treat these as a learning experience. Throw out the guesses under 65. They are not in the ballpark. Focus on the 65-67 range, as the coin is gem grade. Also, is it PL or DMPL? Why yes or no?
Wow nice one I’m going to say MS-65 DMPL amazing details . Gorgeous coin heavy die polishing before this girl was minted I guess
