Does anyone have any info on when the Taylor Spouse gold coin will be lowered to reflect the lower gold prices?

Wednesday afternoon it should be lowered to the $1,100 to $1,150 range.

    Uncirculated will be $729.
    Proof will be $741.

I would wait. I believe gold is going down further.

If you have doubts, I would still wait until gold actually goes over $1150.

I think I'll wait until the unc goes below $700

The times I've bought FS coins when they first come out, I've received some very nice coins. I've been less pleased with coins I've bought later into the mintage...a couple of them I've had to return due to damage. I suspect the Mint puts returned coins back into stock in hopes the next guy won't notice.

I returned an Unc Anna Harrison only to receive the exact same coin back as my replacement :headbang::headbang::headbang:. Personally, I would rather pay a few extra bucks to increase the odds receiving an acceptable coin.
