I still get excited when an old wheat vent finds its way into my pocket change. Cool find.

Nice retained lamination coin. Easy to see and define.

I've been going to the banks and asking for the coin bags that they get out of the coin machines in their lobby. They come in $50 bags. My theory is that people have been taking their change jars and cashing them in since covid hit. So far I've been really lucky. I buy 2 $50 bags at a time and search through those and pick what I want. Then just take the rest back and get more bags. It sure beats opening all those rolls. It's paid off pretty well so far. One $50 bag produced around 100 wheat cents as well as other keepers. Between the four bags that I have sorted through I've got about 200 wheat cents total.
