Kennedy half missing back 1974p

    Hi All was looking at Kennedy half's 1974 P got at bank looking for silver ones ect and came across this one , what could of happen to this one? And could it be wroth anything other then 50 cents? Or because missing part of coin 25 cents:hammer:

    Looks like post mint damage or lamination issues.
    When coin struck is was all together - no image on remaining portion.
    Definitely worth more than a fifty cents.
    Hopefully a collector of these type errors will respond.
    But it is a quite interesting coin.

    It could be faked but is probably a genuine delamination since a fake one would be too obvious to go to the effort.

    Unfortunately it's probably damaged by having the loose part removed significantly reducing its value.

    I would need to see a better and more closeup view of the reverse in order to rule out the possibility that it is a damaged "Magician's coin". I can't tell if the copper portion is flat from the image or if it is sunken in.
