Who needs the rip-off 2021 Morgans? The real thing is better.

Overhyped modern day US mint garbage issue. I am not buying US mint junk coins anymore, given their dealer-favored selling processes. Their apologies are spurious. Every flipper managed to get his/her quota of coins, while the collectors got shut out. Glad I did not even consider the insanity.

What they should do is give people that are on there enrollment plan a chance to buy 1 of each then the next day open it up to sales but I agree they need to stop that. Should only have a limit of one and that should be for everyone. Just my thoughts.

So Kennedy halves and Native American dollars, American Innovation and ASE/AGE are commemoratives? I get what you’re saying (ASE and AGE are bullion but still have a face value), but like it or not, they are not commemorative.

They are NOT a continuation of the Morgan series, 100 years later. That concept is totally absurd, and speculative. It is an anniversary coin, unless the mint uses it as a way to bilk more money from already pissed off collectors.

You could make some argument for the ones with actual mint marks, but the privy ones absolutely aren't. Personally I wouldn't consider them part of the series anymore than I did the gold coins a couple years ago, but just like then some will consider it a must.

Now if they keep doing these every year it'll be harder and harder for people to argue against it being it's own series

Agree I have bought proof and mint sets and ASE's 20 years I'll never buy a another coin (non exclusive) resale coin ever on US Mint again seen enough Let the coin dealers play the game!

I have every modern commemorative up until 2018. All of the ASE's. All of the silver dollars from before 1990. The constant increase in ballast coming from the mint and the steady increase in cost provided the incentive I needed to stop. Edit: before 1900.

I don't have strong feelings either way. It was definitely frustrating with all the errors and "bad gateways" at checkout, but definitely not a conspiracy, just luck getting in-between the glitches.
I thought they were cool ( whatever you want to classify them as) so I bought a few.
If anyone is into traditional pocket knives, these Morgans are easier to score than a GEC.
