Yes I know silver/clad composition they just made it kind of confusing they can't just put 40% silver and 60% copper can't they.
My mistake. Just in a rush as I was thinking about another coin. This is a 40% silver clad San Francisco Half Dollar.
It was so 'dumb' back in the day..........why not make them 'coin silver'? Everyone was so hung up on silver after taking it all out of circulation. The evil coin collectors created a coin shortage. Now (today) we deal with 99.9% silver when we buy sets of that nature. 'Coin silver' has gone the way of the dinosaur.
