Good afternoon. Was trying to ID this coin, and I got pretty far, but I can't seem to find a match. This coin is about 16.5mm, appears to be Herakles on the observe. On the reverse I see a bow, a club, and ΦIΛIΠΠOΥ - which means Philip. I'm assuming Philip II. There looks to be a lambda A inside the bow, which is what is throwing me off. I can't seem to find a similar one that has that. I appreciate any and all help that could help me ID this. Thanks! Here's the closest search I could find
Not gold, I'm afraid. It's a copper alloy similar to brass called orichalcum. It could be Philip III.
Thanks! I'm still having a really hard time locating more information. I don't know Greek coins very well & cannot locate a similar one with Lambda A inside the bow. Any help would be appreciated.
