I haven't done much U.S. stuff as of late but thought I would share this new pick up. Alot of conversation can be had about these. Its actually my first one. Internet_20210522_132959_2.jpeg Internet_20210522_132959_1.jpeg Anyhow feel free to comment.

US Colonial pieces have always been some of my fave. My very first one was also A Nova Caesarea.

I haven't really focused on dies yet but I'm interested. Right now I am looking to get a serpent a camel..a deer ect... kinda dumbed down set?

But what can you tell me about it? Is it rare?

Definitely 63-s, one of the more common varieties. Decent detail on that one, rough surfaces but that is not unusual on these.

I'm partial to the New Jersey coppers as well, although, I don't have many of them.

That horse was the one pulling the plow that’s under the horse. Lol

I only have one for type. I have owned two others. Most interesting one was the "Camel Head" variety which was stuck over another coin. Here's the only one I have now. This was stuck at the Morristown, New Jersey Mint. I lived outside of Morristown in the 1970s which one of the reasons why I still have it.

Ya... those are way higher grade. Very very nice both of them.

If I know me I will own a few more once I dial in on what I want. Sometimes something pops up on this board that helps. Thanks so far guys ...keep it coming!

This is one I looked at but went with the lesser example. Still might. Internet_20210522_162936_2.jpeg Internet_20210522_162936_1.jpeg

For the Colonial coinage, I'm just happy to have some. Never was too concerned with condition. I think just having it says a lot.

I like that one. Good color and hard surfaces. If the price is reasonable, it is a good buy.

Nice coin, but $550 is way too high. It is a 48-g, another very common variety.
