Wow. I used to have a 2¢ shield I carried as my lucky coin. I lost it like 10 years ago in Ft Lauderdale. Haven't seen one since. Very cool coin.

I really like the toning on that 2¢ piece. The condition is awesome.

 

I ment to say two cent but my first impression was to put down shield nickel even though it says two cents,an odd denomination.

Oops! Dang it, I didn't even notice the giant "2 CENTS" on the back because I was too caught up in admiring the tone of it
Just saw the shield and my brain automatically went to a nickel...

 

Is that an improper alloy mix or just toning? Either way it's beautiful.

Beauties the both. Love the woodie 2¢ coin. It looks to be in MS condition, but the lines make it hard for me to actually see the condition. LOL
