Off cut star note.

Any significant value to this note? Im not looking to sell it but I have had it for several years and kept it for its odd cut and of course star serial.

Measure it to make sure it meets the standard size of the note..you can find that here.. www.moneyfactory.gov

It could have been cut by someone on the outside...

Its matches the same size as various other current U.S. currency I own perfectly.

 

Then if it is legit, it will be a cutting error.
I recomend the book by Dr. Fred Bart...Paper Money Errors 3rd Edition.

What does the rev look like?

 

The bottom margin is very large! Would think there wouldnt be much
Of a margin on top even if it wasent cut off!
