    Hello eveyone,
Metal Detecting can be weird at times..
On Monday I detected less than 2 hours and found 3 US Silver Coins with no Wheat Cents and Tuesday I did almost 4 hours and found no US Silver and 15 Wheats :banghead:

I did detect and old Sterling Silver Cross -

Ha! That's proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Mafia ruled NYC. :woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

Congrats on the finds! That cross is beautiful, looks to be from around the 1970's.

Any info on the dig site? I could imagine it being the spot of an old Italian church.

    Thanks..
The Park is called St. Mary's park but St. Mary's church is nowhere near it. There are a few other Catholic churches nearby such as St. Ann's.
It probably was just lost ages ago by some kid who was playing at the park. It was about 6 inches deep.

I guess the proof in in the pudding, now you are blessed by finding a cross, so you know what that means, don't you, "There's gold in them there parks." Wishing you luck!!!

I just got a cross pendant very similar to that for my confirmation a few days ago. Wearing it right now. :)

Also an ancient coin, which I’ll be posting soon. ;)
