PCGS says so. A is edge lettering that is upsidedown when the obverse of the coin is facing up and B is rightsideup. NGC doesn't make any edge orientation distinctions.
So my next question - I don't have both edge lettering varieties for both mints... Would it be worth the "trouble" of trying to get both?
Depends on your obsession with your set. : ) The set is what you make it my friend. If you feel the need, go for it. I dont think they hold anymore value either way but it would be cool to see a set like that I Guess..
Since I collect 2 raw sets anyway, I have one A and one B. The A set is in an Intercept Shield album and the coins look the same as when I put them in but the B set is in a Dansco with an IS-like sleve and it's really toning. I love the golden toning but I'm worried that in the long run, it could get environmental damage...
