Hey I've been searching through penny rolls for about a month now and have been focusing on finding any wheats, errors and the following:

    1960-D DD
    1960 SMALL DATE
    1969-S DD (yeah, right)
    1970-S DD/HIGH 7
    1972 DD
    1983 DD
    1984 DD
    1992 P/D CLOSE AM (lol)
    1995 DD
    1999 AND 2000 WAM

So my question is, have I missed anything important for the memorial years? Ive heard about a 1998 WAM, wasn't aware that that was a variety, just want to make sure I'm not overlooking dates that might be worth something!

Also has anyone found success in searching for silver coins in nickel, dime, quarter, or half dollar rolls? I'm basically a beginner and looking for any tips anyone can offer when it comes to searching through rolls. Thanks!

There is a book called the cherrypickers guide, get it, read it,study it,live by it. I'm fairly new here but that is what you need, and take your time looking at coins carefully, there are so many different mistakes, errors, and other stuff to look for that it is about impossible to list everything or to catch everything when your looking. A good powerfull magnifying glass and a well lit area is important too.

Yeah I've got a few loops i use to look at pennies closer. I will have to consider buying that book, ive seen it at barnes and noble a few times and it looks like its pretty extensive

Yes, there is a 98 WAM (I've found one). There's a 97 DDO (earlobe), and some others as well. Get the book and good luck.

Yes, there has been much success finding silver in half dollar rolls. Some have bought $1000 bags of dimes and found success as well. If you are consistent and do your homework, you will have success at whatever denomination you choose...
