This looks like another eBay fake...listed as "genuine". Among other things, check out the fraction; it's way off. I don't know how to report these things to eBay or I would. The "report" button doesn't seem to have a category that covers fake coins.
Hmm. My first thought was genuine and altered. But really, that's just a guess because I don't know these coins well enough to attribute, and I'm too lazy to get Breen's book to look....Mike

Very likely (if not certainly) a fake. That "5" has been worked on, and none too well I might add. See this PCGS F15 from Heritage: Human "ingenuity" never ceases to amaze me.......
i thinks its fake, look at the fraction in the ebay picture and then look at the picture in the link. the one in the link goes over the 2 and the one in the ebay pic doesn't. FAKE!!!
So the same guy has a 1922 no D and a 1914D Cent... All Fakes?? If so .. time to report these items . The 14d Is trash so .. no.. but the 22? Wait.. just saw the 1909S VDB.. Well Maybe.. 14d is OK the 22 is not right
Wow... he has three '22 "no D's" listed that are all from the same Chinese forgery factory. What a mess.. this guy is out to make some fast Christmas dollars at the expense of the "way to trusting" eBay community!
Sorry, but you are tilting at windmills for the most part. 1909-S VDB - authentic obverse #3. N and VDB are correct. "1922 No D Plain Lincoln Cent" - authentic Die #4. "1914 D Lincoln Cent Key Date1914d" - badly corroded, but looks real to me. "1922 No Weak D Plain Lincoln Cent" - authentic 1922-D, but not a weak "D". "1922 No D Plain Lincoln Cent Strong Reverse*" - now this one appears to be altered and not a 22- no "D"
This is the dangerous type of seller... Does he know these are fake???? Who knows... Does he care??? Who knows.... The guys who sell a ton of original pieces and then sell unknowingly (or knowingly) counterfiet and altered pieces are the worst ones...

image from 1805 small 5 auction There are two genuine small 5 varieties C-2 is raree, and C-3 is very rare. On C-2 the gap between the terminal leaves of the wreath is centered below the right serif of the E. On C-3 it is centered below the right edge of the right serif of the E. On the ebay auction it is right of the serif of the S. So it is definitely fake. The spacing of the date is also wrong and the point of the 1 does not point to the correct place on the hair curl.
On second thought.... This coin is being discussed in the EAC yahoo group.
