Is the Hennig thing beaten to death? Found another "Hennig", lol. Old Ralph, throwing nickels down the block again, lol.
The jokes on me. I read 31 pages of posts to find out that " ol' Ralph " has been throwing those coins around the neighborhood. I'm glad that I got the few I have before " ol' Ralph " got busy.
Thanks for having a good sense of humor. I hope it wasn't a complete waste of time. Some cool stuff here.
Absolutely not a waste of time. I read all of the various posts about "finds", whether in circulation, or with metal detectors, or what have you. Your finds are especially interesting because they are similar to what I was finding as a part-time cashier after I retired from land surveying. In my register I would find IHCs, wheaties, old nickels of all types including buffalos and war nickels, silver dimes and quarters. Sometimes we'd get halves and dollar coins, plus collectable paper money. Finding something unexpected was always fun.
I find fun things almost daily, which is petty cool. Except today, so far, lol. I found two prewar nickels, but I'm not posting anything non silver or non W, for now. Thanks for stopping by.
It's a great thread CoinJockey! I like seeing what you find. I'm rooting for you brother. I hope you find the Motherload i am sure you will.
Thanks man. I wish it were more exciting, like finding older or cooler stuff, but everything i find is modern. You're in a league of your own, yourself, my friend. Thanks again for stopping by!
Couple nickels this afternoon, nothing worth posting. This is the first day I've gone in a while, that i didn't find a W mint mark. I've got to be honest, i feel jilted. Lol. Years and years to come. Good news is, those 2021 came out just in time, to confuse me looking for '19s and '20s. They're everywhere now, sigh.
@Hookman I'd really enjoy seeing some of the stuff you found while working the register. Feel free to post here. I don't think any of the guys (or gal, i didn't forget you @Copper lover (get some sleep!)) would mind, and if they did, t.s., it's my thread, lol.
