If there really is a santa he could bring me my 2009 ASE Proof I am sure his elfs could pound one out for me. I am not counting on anything money related unfortunately.
:thumb: a black pair and brown pair has been that way now for 17 years so why change but maybe heres hopeing a 21 peace $ in au dave
If you have an in with the elfs, could you have them pound out another and leave it in my stocking. It will be hanging right there on the fireplace.
This one's not a dog ! It's F12, not AU. But hey... ya gotta start somewhere. http://hlrc.com/inv/Record_zoom.php?INV_NO=99300 http://hlrc.com/ OK, Santa ! I've done the hard part - I found it. You just get your elves busy arranging finance.
No gold or silver for me. I would be happy with a roll of 2009 D Jeffersons. But at this point they are worth there weight in gold.
I want the Super Bowl coin they toss when the S. D. Chargers go to the big game in 2010 & winnnnnnn , California Dreamin lol
Here is what I'm asking for. The first three are in order of most desired. http://www.charltonpress.com/NumismaticsBook.asp?v_ISBN=9780889683303# http://www.charltonpress.com/NumismaticsBook.asp?v_ISBN=0-88968-311-5 http://www.charltonpress.com/NumismaticsBook.asp?v_ISBN=088968-313-1 These 2 are two that I am asking for that are regularly available. I am also asking for Franks book on "Redbooks" and a few of Hans Zoell's books on Canadian varietys. I am not expecting the Hans Zoell ones. Those are Extremely expensive and collectible in themselves.
I am not asking for any coins specifically. I do need coin holders (for my year sets, I have about half in there now, I still need more and I only have one year of Canadians in there, I have enough Canadian thanks to a friend of mine who lives there giving me his pocket change, to need year holders dating back to the 1950s. I am also asking for currency holders, right now my entire currency collection is stored loose in envelopes, I want to get them protected inside holders. I have also turned my mom to bulk world coinage. That is always fun and a nice surprise. I did one pound last summer (2008) and I said I wanted to do 25 pounds in 2009. I have not done any! I havn't been able to afford it, For American coins, well, my family usually gives me a roll or two, but for classics (read: 1964 or earlier) I have to pick my own, because there are certain looks I go for, and there are some flaws that I will accept for my collection. My family, however, does not know what those flaws are and could not tell what they are by looking at the coins anyway. Besides that, they don't know what I have or don't have! Of cource, anything they gave me would be proudly in my collection, even if it didn't fit lookwise with my other coins, just because they went through the effort of getting it for me.
coins not a coin I get better results asking my family than I do asking 'Santa' I asked them for 2,500 coins for my Christmas present Being a 'penny roll searcher' I don't think there will be a problem getting a $25.00 box of pennies for Christmas ... in fact .... maybe I might even get 2 boxes! Woot!:thumb: sheba
I've asked for the DC & US Territories proof set, but most of my coin related wishlist is comprised of books and a new loupe. Here's hoping *fingers crossed*
The last two proof ASEs I need to complete my set. Oh, like Phil Ham, we are flying our daughter back to PA from Colorado. She's bringing all the 2009-D dimes and nickels she's found so far. Which is None! But, she is looking.
Dear Santa, I really want a vf Chain cent, if not any early pattern would do. Also a couple Budgood bags, or any bags put away 80 or 90 years ago and unchecked.
Seems like Santa came a bit early, as this afternoon my very own copy of the ANA Grading Standards for US Coins arrived. It looks like the holidays will be happy after all 'round these parts.
Christmas wants The Manley half cent book is first on my list. Having my local banks actually get presidential dollars is more of a pipe dream than a wish. What is it about the Fed that makes them not want to circulate new coins (or have I violated CoinTalk's restriction on political commentary/griping ) Something I won't get, but would like is a1793 half cent. In any case, Merry Christmas to all of you Bob
