1927-S Lincoln Mintmark... opinions??

    I just was curious as to what others thought about the mintmark on this one. It almost looks rotated to me but I am really not sure. All comments appreciated. Thanks!

    The S MM is not inverted from what I can tell.

    Thanks for the info and opinions. I scanned the coin and "cropped" the date and MM. Not sure this will help but.... guess Ill find out once it is posted. A few months ago I picked up and old Whitman Book for a couple bucks at a yard sale and finally had a chance to go through it and found this. It did have an XF 09 VDB in it so anything else would just be a surprise bonus. Thanks again to everyone!

    You just might have something there. So far, the 1946-S has the only known Lincoln cent with an inverted MM...

    It's a normal S and is not inverted.
