Yeah....Ship of gold. If that doesn't make you wet yourself...you're not as fond of coins as me. It's mind blowing what was recovered from the Central America. The best part is that despite the best efforts of the courts and insurance companies, the salvors were able to keep the lion's share of the treasure. I think Lloyd's of London ended up getting 1300 dollars...not adjusted for inflation. Nightowl
Yes, the SS Central America was a good one. I also liked the show on the West Point Mint on the History Channel. I think it was a Modern Marvels episode but I can't remember.
