Thanks for your help! Ok, I just came up with this cent. 2017 Lincoln cent. The obverse is double struck and miss centered. It also has double ears. But the best part is on the back. Its checkered and some of the black squares are N's. Please educate me on this.

    Welcome.
Your coin is just dirty and has probably been sitting in something that was a checked pattern that toned it that way.
Either way, no errors or anything of value.

FYI - True doubling such as in Doubled Die varieties have absolutely nothing to do with a coin being double struck. It's struck just one time with a Die that was doubled during the hubbing process.

Also FYI, true doubling as in doubled die varieties stopped in approximately 1995 when the mint decided to only squeeze ( transfer the impression) once anymore, so only a results of doubled squeeze die can make true doubled die. However that does not stop many from claiming otherwise, as they depend of the marketing for their sales. IMO! There is a reason why some die experts began a TYPE IX doubling effect which one called " Only God Knows" or something similar.

Oddities are fun to find , but their desire and value is much less than the real thing. All IMO, Jim
