Nice coin! I've been collecting silver modern commemoratives for the past few years.

 

I have this one too.

 

It takes both branches and a few others to defend this nation of ours. I was Army myself, a Vietnam Era Vet.

I have as well, but only the Uncirculated ones. The proofs are too common.

 

Yes, I was getting these for $16 each, $22 for graded MS-69/70s last year.

Stopped buying since I cleaned out my LCS!

I do have a few modern commem dollars. My LCS sells them for melt exactly. I have a 2007 Law Enforcement Officers Proof dollar which to my knowledge is lower mintage and worth more than melt, I’ll try to get pics tomorrow.
