MS 64 ....luster looks strong; a little chatter on the cheek, left field, and reverse prevent the 65 (based on what I can see in the photo)
MS-63 . A Mint State coin with attractive mint luster, but noticeable detracting contact marks or minor blemishes .
One thing the picture may, or may not convey—it is a screaming luster bomb. It has off the charts luster.
I just want to say, I do really appreciate your threads, Morgandude. The guess the grades are nice with the description and reasoning by other members. So, even if I do not wager a guess, (as I do feel insecure and uneducated on several series) I do read through them. They are helpful to train the eye and I appreciate them, so thanks again. As for this one, I am going to be odd man out. I am going to say 64+. That luster is amazing and booming!! Despite that, there is a lot of chatter in the fields that distracts my eye heavily despite the luster. I feel there is wear evident for hair curls directly behind/in line with the eyes. Similarly, on the reverse at the base of the nape where one wing divides to the other and slightly inferior the upper feathers of the eagle's right wing I feel there is wear. With the field clutter and potential wear, I bet it got a 64 but the luster made it a + in my book.
Really would just be echoing everyone else's comments, but I'm going with 63+. Enough chatter to hold it back.
Between the 'Y' and 'Trust' obverse; second 'A' in America to 'R' in Dollar on reverse. But it could just be a photo/lighting anomaly.
