Pre-orders for Type 2 Silver Eagles

Look around and you’ll find some dealers accepting pre-orders for the 2021 Type 2 reverse Silver Eagles (business strike). It’ll go into my album set.

I went ahead and took one for $42. Ridiculous premium but no telling what it will be when the coin is released in July.

I don't think there will be any limits on them right?

My guess is there will be plenty to go around.

But $42 is a fair price to make sure you do get one.

Yeah, that is steep, but they could be more after they're released. I might grab one or two.

 

These are the true bullion coins. The public can’t buy them directly from the Mint. You have to go through a dealer.
