My brother bought this one and sent me a pic.. I told him is fake, the berries are wrong.. he said it's silver (it is).. I said it's still fake.. he said if fake you can have it... So pretty new fake has arrived (my brother got a refund from the dealer i get free silver lol)
How do you know its made from silver? Just curious. I have seen these in pot metal, and seen them in pot metal with a silver coating. I have never seen these struck in silver blanks.
XRF analyzer and a weight test would be the best I would think at least 20grams since its fake basically 2/3 of an ounce of silver
I know I should... but I'm adding it to my collection of good fakes.. (right between my fake 1883 Hawaiian dollar and the last addition 1909s G$5) It will be well and properly labeled I promise
