    I recently found 2 $10 star notes,both series 2004 A, and both of their serial numbers start with GA. My question is where are indicators on the notes to find out where they were printed? On the top of the bill to the right of Hamilton's head one note has the 'code' fwH35 and the other says fwH36, does that mean the bills were printed in Fort Worth? If not where and how can you tell? Also when looking at the website:

    http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/

    which letter do these notes go under? (A B C D E F G H I J K L)?

    And does anyone know what is a good book that has plenty of info on U.S. bills?

    Thanks in advance!

    I'm not 100% sure where exactly they're printed but the letter designations are for each of the 12 Federal Reserve Districts.

    A= Boston, B = New York, C = Philadelphia, D= Cleveland, E = Richmond, F = Atlanta,
    G = Chicage, H = St. Louis, I = Minneapolis, J = Kansas City, K = Dallas and L = San Francisco.

    This is correct... if the note has FW on it it was printed in Fort Worth, TX if not, it was printed in Washington, DC
