Looks like a Dutch Colonial gold ducat, but the writing look to be Greek. Sorry I could n't be more of a help
After going thought my Standard Catalog of World Gold Coins . I can't find anything like this coin. It seems to have Greek writting on the coin but checking the instant identifier and the coins listed in this catalog under greek coins.I can't find anything close to the Obv. or Rev. Sorry but this catalog has never before failed me to find a gold coin orgin.
After looking at this coin again It looks like it's gold but... I'm wondering if it was not a coin struck for a costume jewery or something as such. Like I posted in my last writting the Catalog of world gold coins is like the Bible of gold coins.
There is nothing Greek or Cyrillic about these letters. The reverse square is filled with mirrored E and N while the obverse adds a few C's to the other two. I'd guess it is a 'made for jewelry' metal disk.
Mystery solved it's a 77 Chewbacca ...of course you have to be on Alderon to get change! But I believe it on a female wookie....do female wookies have hair on their chest?:goofer:
I agree with Paddy54, this is most likely costume jewelry modeled after a Netherlands gold ducat. Here's another real one..... I have never seen another with this date.
