    Interesting artifact on the reverse between the bottom of the E and C. Looks like one of the stripes extending up? I don't see how this could be machine doubling but I'm a novice...     Thanks for posting good full image photos. I see what you are referring to and it almost looks like a clash mark but doesn't line up with that fact. I would vote for a plating issue as this is one of the crapy Zincoln cents. JMHO and maybe others will disagree and present a better answer. Good luck.

    Thanks Mountain Man. Plating issues may indeed explain it. There is a "bubble" near the top of the artifact. What caught my eye was the symmetry of it and that it comes close to aligning with the stripe below.
