Barber halfs from the flea market

    Checked out the flea market last sunday and came home with
    An 1896 p morgan in XF-AU and these two Barbers in G-4,all three for
    $25,all in all not a bad deal from what i can tell.
    You just don't seem to find many barbers around in any condition so i figure for $5 a piece,why not.

    I'm guessing you mean you got all 3 for $15 ;)

    Unfortunately not, he wanted 15$ for the Morgan, which really isn't bad.
    Since it's closer to AU than XF, I might have been able to bargain him down to $12 but I find it hard to quibble over a few bucks and was pressed for time.

    I think you got an okay deal on the Barber halves. Most coin stores are charging $6 each for well circulated examples.

    The best price I have found at the dealer shops on good conditon Barber halves is around $10. :)
