2009 formative year error

    Does the first image (over the shoulder) have anything to do with
    an apparent extra thumb?

    Thanks for the help guys... I think I found it

    2009 1¢ FY WDDR-016

    Description: A partial extra index finger can be seen below the thumb.

    Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die crack with a die chip at the center runs SW to NE through the hair on the upper back of the head. A die cracks runs NW from the eyebrow through the forehead. A small die gouge can be found NE of the 9. Obverse Stage B: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage A: A die chip can be found on Lincoln’s left shoulder. A short die crack extends SW to NE across the upper right N of ONE. Reverse Stage B: A large die chip can be found on the top left E of ONE.

    Good find. Granted I haven't searched a ton of these, but I still haven't found one of the DD's.

    Just how many DD's have been identified thus far (not including the 4th and final issue)?

    Gotta be at least 100 through the first 3 issues. I don't have an electron microscope, so I don't even bother with series 1 & 2.
