Going thru some coins and came across this and wondered if this is the 1935 DDR.

    Not DD

It looks like MD but may be another type of worthless doubling

Here's a little advice Op on taking images .
Every image is negative Plum you need to plumb those images up that's why you see all that flat shelf like stuff .

Make a template to take pictures of your coin otherwise nothing looks right

Another thing I noticed about this coin is the poor strike. Check out the lack of detail on both sides, especially the reverse.

Yes it is, I tried to get the best pics I could, but it's still hard to see what detail there is, especially the E Pluribus Unum. Thanks everyone...

There are two Ts! Which one? I'm soooo confused! :D

@longarm, do you see how both sides of this first T are flared out? That can't happen in die doubling...

It's a strong case of machine doubling.

@Robert Ransom, I tried to PM you but the "Start a Conversation" tab didn't show up? So, my apologies to the OP for doing this: I was reading Jeff Shara's "Gods and Generals" last evening and one of the Confederate generals was Robert Ransom. Any relation?

Our Family Ransom had cousins fighting cousins in the Civil War and yes, he was a related cousin. We also fought in the Revolutionary War.

I agree. Looks like machine doubling. I think the die was pushed with extra force and it made the edges of the coin look like that. DD doesn’t look like that.

It's still a very nice IH/Buffalo. It's a keeper, thanks for sharing it.

What do I have to do, draw you a diagram? It's grammar school textbook strike doubling...

Yes, it is doubling, duh....The same as a ddr, not too bright are you? Why don't you draw some more arrows? Only do so on the coin I referenced? Notice the similarity? Duh....
