Hey guys! So, I have this coin (see below) that clearly says: ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟY - which I believe is Philip. There's a bow and a club with herakles (Hercules) on the observe. That's pretty much as far as I can find out about it. I've looked up acsearch and cannot find a similar one. Is it Macedon - or is there a SEAR # or something? Thanks!
I don't know for sure, but since it's obviously patterned after a bronze of Alexander the Great, my guess would be AtG's son, Philip III. Maybe start there.
This looks similar to LeRider 4 p.252. If so, that would make it a quarter-stater (the copy I found is 12mm, 2.11g) from Philip II, though a posthumous issue as it was minted from 336-328 BCE.
