1957 Lincoln penny die crack?

    That's actually a Lamination Crack not a Die Crack.
    Planchet issue. Different from a Die Crack. When the Die cracks due to wear the metal from the blank planchet will flow into the crack when struck and appear raised in the coin. When the planchet has a flaw such as your it will appear as it does. A Die will not crack the planchet.

    As PM98 says, it's a lamination, from improper metal mixture
    of the planchet strip.
