Over the years I have found hundreds of Polished, Plated, Holed, Smashed, Painted, Enameled, Acid Soaked, Spooned, Engraved, Counter Marked, and many other PMD type coins. Here are a few Plated, Polished, and Counter Marked examples I found in the last couple of years. IMG_1991.JPG IMG_1992.JPG IMG_1993.JPG IMG_1994.JPG IMG_1995.JPG IMG_1996.JPG

Wow... Somebody put some effort into that heart inlay.... I suppose mine would be a gold plated 1883 nickel.... You know, the ones that were supposed to be a racketeers nickel so Littleton plated a bazillion of them and passed them off as racketeers nickels..... Don't have a photo handy.

That date supposedly has something to do with Hitler and the Nazi's first organizational meeting. Maybe Hans was there.

    I know I wasn't.
