    I could be mistaken but I believe all the 1976 silver clad halves have the S mint mark. (But not all 1976 S halves are silver clad). Sorry, all 1976 P and D JFK's are copper nickel clad. It's still great that you finally found one. :)

    Reminds me of my mom. She always saved all bicentennial coins. I do believe I have some in the safe of hers I got when she passed away.

    Pretty. Not in a competition. I have one I found yesterday from a store. You may look it up on my postings. Not silver but still a beautiful coin. Cost me 50 cents.
