Aw heck, that's not the worst I've seen by a loooong shot... Any 1832 for under $25 is good, even if you have to spend some time conserving it
restored.. no.. made presentable and desireable.. yes I think so worst case scenario a lye dip for a smoother if blackish surface (but i doubt this one needs more then the double bath/soak)
