It’s just a label. The only way someone would pay more for that is if they support the person. Otherwise, it’s the value of the silver that set the pricing.
these remind me of how they did the major league baseball team holders.it seems like a gimmick to inflate the prices
You can't tell someone how to feel, & you know people will certainly feel different about this label. But it's kind of like the "First Strike" label right?...WTH! Now for me, I couldn't have it...but the gesture was very nice & I'm sure sincere. I would merely send it to the issuing TPG (which one, btw?) for re-holdering! (Be specific on what you want on the label!)
While having that label, or any of the ones like it, is just as silly as "First Strike" and others, NAV, but as others have said:
What I did buy was the 2020 and 2021 Emergency Production Silver Eagles from the Philadelphia and San Francisco mints. 2020 had very low mintages, and 2021 are limited to 495,00 from the Philadelphia, and 1 million from the San Francisco mint. So, I do own NGC MS 70s, with the P and S mint designations. Normally, I don’t buy bullion, but these were comparatively low mintage.
If you have a "political" slab, probably only those of that particular party would be interested in purchasing it. I buy only clean labels, by that I mean only those in NGC or PCGS plain slabs, not 1st day, early issue, John Doe signature etc. etc. etc. It is my humble opinion that they do this only to increase sales. I buy the coin not the specialized slab. JMO Stay Safe
it reminds me of all the major league baseball team logos they put on the holders a few years ago.it just seems like a gimmick to jack up the prices.
If they made special labels for beer brands, cat breeds, dog breeds, people who get no respect, there'd be people wanting to collect them.
