Here's a raunchy Trajan fourrée denarius with a crumbling edge and lots of exposed core. Nasty!

As I understand it, the Syrian drachm circulated at par value with the denarius in and out of the main empire, and consisted of the same size, weight, and fineness of an imperial denarius.

 

I have more Trajan provincial tetradrachms and drachms than I do denarii. So I'm sorry to say I have only these two to post:

I have several more on my VCoins watch list in case I ever make up my mind to spend the money to buy any of them, but if there's one other type I really do want if I find one I like and can afford, it's the one with Trajan's column on the reverse. I'd be very happy with one like @Ancient Aussie's!

Extremely worn (and my photographic skills don't help) but I was able to identify it without doubts.

Annona was the divine personification of the grain supply to the city of Rome, a creation of Imperial pseudo-religious propaganda, manifested in iconography and cult practice, but lacking in narrative mythology or a historical tradition of devotion.

Except the one published in MIR 526y+ Woytek(I'm curios to see this coin) and yours , I found two other examples : one in Jesus Vico web auction 12 and one in a German forum , all are double die-matches. I tried to buy the one from Jesus Vico in February , unfortunately I gave up , mainly because of the price and for the long and complicated shipping process.
