ok so i have this coin or atleast i think it is a coin. I do not think it is gold or silver the color is actually black. On the front there is a picture of a sphyinx with four pyramids behind it and the sun above the pyramids. Under all that is 5 egyptian symbols one symbol i know is an ankh. On the back there is a pharoah sitting in a chair with one cat like creature at each of his sides. Surrounding him are eight egyptian symbols. Im pretty sure one of the symbols is the feather of maat but the other 7 i can not find out what they are. I have tried to do some research on this but have not come up with anything that even looks remotely close. It seems extremely old but still in pretty fair condition. I have had this thing for about ten years and would love to figure out what it is
Sounds more like a medal than a coin. No Date or denomination???? I must add with this edit, that if the item is BLACK, it is probably "White Metal" That is the corrosion color of that material. A picture would be nice though.
