1863 indian head penny

    The coin has all the features of a real coin but it is twice as thick as other coins. Any ideas?

    Actually, weight/diameter/specific gravity/luster/micro the thickness....etc will do.

    It should also be lighter in color, from 1859 to 1864 the cent was made from a nickle bronze alloy, they were thicker than cents made after 1864.
