I think some of you don't get it that are saying it's a small date. I'm afraid this new member has fallen prey to the stupid youtube videos about how you can find the 82 small date copper cent. Sorry, but definitely a large date and quit watching coin videos on youtube!

 

Anyone else notice the zinc rot circle that has started around the MM?

Hi and welcome. Looking at the picture of your coin, it looks as if the "D" is down in the bottom of a small pit, approx. 3X the diameter of the letter.
