From your favorite bank teller who saved them for you, so you bought them at face value and gave her a small box of godiva chocolates as a thank you.
A. Inside an antique book you bought for .25 cents at a garage sale. B. Behind a piece of art inside the picture frame that you bought at the same garage sale for a dollar. C. You work construction and you found them inside the walls of a bathroom on an old home you are remodeling. And you didn't tell the homeowner.
"...you wont believe me when you find out where i got these from..." Judging by the condition, I'm going with Islandhammer's theory that they were found in the old yard sale book purchased for twenty five cents. Was the book any good?
Okay, you've got your wish, greater than 10 posts from 10 different people. Now, where'd you get the notes with successive SNs?
my father has had them since the were issued brand new in 1957, last year, i bought his entire collection of coins, and bills from him
...so I don't get why we wouldn't we believe where you got these from once you told us, as you stated in your original post??? This was hardly worth begging the attention for. Glad you got the notes from family and were able to keep the collection in your family at least. Hope you bought them for a decent price.
