Hello, I have a 2005 nickle that is still in the pack with the blue line across the top of all the cions in tack, that came from the US Mint is way. Is It a scrach or a die crack? I will try to send the picture so yopu can see it better. Thanks, Kenny G
If it is not raised - but incuse ( I think that's what you mean when you say deep - or into the surface ) then it is a scratch. If you bought the set from the mint you can return it if you wish for replacement.
Thank you for your help,also look at the spot to the right of his left eye just before it gets close to the word we? But what I did was order another set and it has took close to 4 months to get another set. I call the other day and they said it had been mailed out. Thank you for your time and take care. Kenny G
