Gordian III. Tough to tell the city as the reverse legend is obliterated. I'm thinking Nikopolis ad Istrum or Thessalonica.
The tripod contains the sacred apples of Apollo. I'm thinking something similar to this Pythian games issue. It looks like all of these apples and tripod issues are from Thessalonica. Gordian III, AD 238-244. Roman provincial Æ 25.6 mm, 10.61 g, 2 h. Macedon, Thessalonica, AD 238-244. Obv: AVT K M ANT ΓΟΡΔIANOC, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: ΘЄCCAΛΟΝΙΚЄΩΝ ΝЄ, tripod surmounted by five apples; Π-V/Θ-Ι/Α across field. Refs: Touratsoglou, Thessaloniki 80; Varbanov 4523; Moushmov 6815.
Thank you and your help, yes, on my coin the head of the Gordian looks the other way and mine has a raised relief portrait. And looks like some kind of medal?

Do not assess the value of your coin based on what this seller charges for a similar example, or you will be very disappointed. Everything s/he sells is shamefully overpriced, usually by a factor of 8-10 or so.
