I love the design on these - definitely up there as one of my favorites in the ATB series

I also really like the Alaska design, it's very "regal" ;) IMG2021-4-20.JPG

Yes very very pretty. I have the set but I hate to open it. These are some of the ones I find looking through change. But yes Alaska is pretty.

Not sure of your posts point. Beautiful is of course in the eye of the beholder. When this coin came out, I thought is was the strangest and ugliest coin of the series, but there are plenty more where that came from. Just sharing my opinion. If you like it, collect it.

My opinion, 2010 was the best overall year for the ATB quarter designs. Yosemite, Grand Canyon. nice..... The bat coin is probably the most popular single design though. I blame PETA for that.

I don't know why but I just love that silly bat. Between this and the butterfly on Tallgrass. Those are my two favorites of the ATB series.

Just to let u know I also have several of these discolored coins.why these folks don't admit to the fact that they're either missing clad layer or some other strange anomally I'm not sure. But be assured that I see it.

Lmao actually I'm pretty certain the miss coin has hideous locked up in the ugly category. But seriously what's with these gold toned quarters?I know there's a doubling on the somoa engravers initials one or both.

They are really not discolored. They are in full silver color. Just like the State coins.

I will bring it outside tomorrow and take the pic and in the mean time I have found more. Not sure why I’m justifying the color but I will repost it in morning.
