Hi I have a 1985 A $50 bill and was wondering if it is a keeper or not? It's in good shape, but I don't know how to grade paper bills yet. I have some other bills that I will post in a while... after I find them :goofer:

    Thank you

A 1985 A isnt worth more then face value. Unless its in perfect condition and a possible * note, otherwise spend it on something you want.

Yea, thats what I thought the answer was goin to be, I'd hate to spend it though because it's a small head note and it's probably gonna get shredded, I'd like to keep it in collector's hands... I wonder if my local coin store would buy it, even for face.

there are millions of old dollars shredded each day. i doubt a local coin dealer would have much interest even for face as they wouldnt have much luck selling it. i say just spend it on yourself. :) there is still plenty of old currency in circulation :thumb:
